Battery wears out too fast.
I was surprised that it allowed use of a 5vdc adapter but did not include one. It does work on 4 aaa batteries but I don’t yet know how long they will Las. The laser line works as expected, but it’s not much of an overhead light. It only lights up right where the 2 small leds are pointing so you can see 2 and 17 very well but it doesn’t even come close to lighting up the entire board.
Laser line is good but the lighting of the board is terrible!
The red toe line is Great!!The board lights are worthless. Not nearly bright enough and not far enough from the board. Casts lots of shadows. The bracket is cheaply attached. Drilled my own hole in the spacing block and attached it that way. Threw the metal bracket bar away.I also wish the was a way to plug it in. But I only use it now for the toe line so it should last a while for just that. You get what you pay for. I wish I would have bought the one with just the toe line.
Line is straight, and the lights are bright. I love it.
Great light easy to install with multiple choices of how to install and now I can take the tape off the floor.
Took the husband a minute to install, all said and done was not that hard and works great 👍
Creates a nice like to shoot from removing the need to put tape on my rug but the lighting is uneven and shadows the bottom of the board. If you were able to bring it out a little bit more and angle it better it would be a great product. Only other issue is you need to buy a separate power supply. The batteries die quickly.
Getting the negative out of the way, I just don't like the tone of the lights. I"d prefer a warmer color. Other than that, it illuminates the board well and the laser line on the floor is well defined. Just dont look at the laser when you go to pull your darts. Unless you're 6'6" tall, your eyes will pass through the laser as you walk to the board.
would be nice it this was offered with the wall adapter.
Sometimes the light moves and has to be readjusted but it works good. The light is easy to see even with all the lights on
It is awesome because it lights up the board well and provides a throwing line too.
Works great. Would be better if the base was adjustable without removing the mounting screws. And if course would really like a power supply so I don't have to worry about batteries dieing if it gets left on.
This item works great and exactly as advertised
So overall, I'm ok with the product itself. Where I'm disappointed is I ordered the adapter linked in the questions, and it doesn't fit.
We bought this specifically for the laser line and didn't have any use for the lights. (We are using the large Viper ring light. However, frankly, the little white LED lights on this laser pointer don't put out all that much light, so I wouldn't buy this for that feature.)As a laser line, though, this thing is PHENOMENAL! It perfectly solves the issue of where to stand without cluttering up the floor or surroundings with another type of marker. We absolutely LOVE this thing. That said, we were finding it necessary to replace the batteries every other day. That was disheartening. I was sure we weren't leaving it on after we were done playing. (Although, as a note to the manufacturer, PLEASE add an auto off feature that will turn this off after an hour or so, just in case someone accidentally did leave it on. Not only will it help preserve battery life, but it would protect the stray child that wanders upon it left on and might stare at it, and thereby harming their eyes.)At any rate, what we didn't realize is that there are three on settings and one off setting. The first press of the on/off switch turns on both the laser and the white LEDs. The second press turns off the laser, leaving on only the white LEDS. The third press turns off the white LEDs and the laser back on. And, the fourth press turns everything off. Well, because we were not using the LED lights, we did not realize they were coming on when we turned on the unit. And then, on the second button press, when we thought we were turning off the entire unit, because the laser went off, we didn't realize that we had actually left on the white LED lights which were pushed back into the device. (Another note to the manufacturer... a much better design would be to have the laser's on/off switch separate from the LED lights. And have the LED lights come on when pulled out of the unit and then turn off when pushed back in. This would eliminate this confusion and would keep people from experiencing extremely poor battery life by accidentally leaving the lights on even when they are pushed back into the unit.Obviously, one fix for the battery life problem is to just make sure to press the on/off button enough times to fully turn off both the laser and the white lights. However, I went one step further. Since we do not need the lights at all, I opened up the unit and cut the wires to the white LEDs. That way, they can never come on to drain battery power. The additional benefit is that now the on/off switch operates in the way you would expect. Press once, the laser turns on. Press again, the laser turns off. End of story.Hopefully this helps anyone who purchases this in the future. It really is a wonderful laser line, and I'm so happy we purchased it. Just be aware of the potential battery issue and how to fix it. Enjoy!
This attaches on top of my dart board cabinet and the adjustable laser shines a bright red line as the toe line. The twin lights slide out to illuminate the board and back flush with the cabinet when not in use. Two small screws Attach it to the cabinet. The lights are not that bright but is a good supplement source of light. It’s a cool addition
I am so glad we got this to install above our gran board! No more tape on the hard wood floor or rug. Easy to mount and easy to adjust, and appears to keep its accuracy.
I would like to avoid batteries and plug into A\C, what are the dimensions or specifications for the D\C input plug? Is a power supply available from Ignat games?
Just received this today. Surprised at how bright the board and line lights are. Power adapter has to be purchased separately or run on 4 AAA Batteries.
Lights up my board nicely plus no tape as oche line
I like both the laser line and lights for the dart board. I would like the white lights to be a bit brighter. That said, this was the only laser line light I found that also had board lights.
Let me start by saying that this product works great. It looks good, is bright and keeps tape off of the floor. It does have one fatal flaw though.... battery life is terrible. I would think 4aa batteries would last quite some time with LED lights - they don't. Seems like it must still use some battery even when shut off as if I leave it off for a few days, it's dead when I go to use it again.Easy fix - include a way to plug it in.
When I received the product, my first impression was that the packaging or the box it came in was a lot smaller than I expected. What I like best about the product is that it has lateral white lights to increase the visibility of the dartboard and I also like that is adjustable. The aspects of the products that I didn’t like or could be improved is that the four AAA batteries are not included. Also I'm concerned with the laser radiation and exposure to the eyes. The product is easy to use and easy to mount. It comes with all the necessary hardware and instructions.
This is a different added accessory to playing darts for you and everyone in the family to use and have fun with. It doesnt matter what your level of the game is, whether beginner or professional. You will have added fun and precise throwing! You are sure to love it
